APF Canada, in partnership with Canada West Foundation, presents a new interactive trade tracking tool, The CPTPP Product Competitiveness Tracker.
The CPTPP entered into force for the first six countries to ratify the agreement – Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and Singapore – on December 30, 2018, and for Vietnam on January 14, 2019.
This tool tracks Canada's export relations with Japan, the world’s third largest economy and Canada’s fourth largest trading partner (C$29.3 billion in bilateral merchandise trade in 2017).
Click the image above to access this tool and use it to find your product's new tariff rate under the CPTPP, expected export gains, and who the major global players are for each product. The dropdown menu enables search by HS category or keyword.
