Joy Kwak

Joy Ahrum Kwak currently works as a Policy Analyst for Global Affairs Canada. She is expected to receive her M.A. specializing in diplomacy and foreign policy from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and holds a Bachelor of International Development from McGill. Joy has worked in government departments as well as non-profits, researching topics ranging from Canada’s political engagement with China to national security, immigration, and Canada’s Afghanistan policies. She is passionate about reimagining approaches to our foreign policy and learning even more about the multifaceted nature of the Asia Pacific.
