Jon Marvin Reyes was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated to Montreal, Quebec with his family in 2014. He currently studies Political Science at McGill University with particular interests in Canadian and Philippine politics, immigration policies, and social justice issues affecting visible minorities. He has various involvements with the Filipino community and English-speaking youth in Quebec. In his free time, he enjoys writing, watching movies, and taking pictures in the most esthetic places in Montreal.
