Darren Touch is a policy commentator and analyst on Cambodian and Southeast Asian affairs. With a background in public policy, Darren has extensive knowledge and experience in governance and evidence-based, people-focused public policy development in the public, private, and non-governmental sectors. He is a Schwarzman Scholar completing a Master of Management Science, Global Affairs at Tsinghua University, Beijing, and a graduate of the Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs (MPPGA) from the University of British Columbia.
Stephanie Lee is APF Canada's Program Manager, Networks and Partnerships. She has direct experience working with think-tanks and international organizations in Asia including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Stephanie studied a Master of International Forestry at the University British Columbia, and a Master of Public Systems Management and Bachelor of Science in Geography (Hons.) in India.
Justin Kwan is a Program Manager at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada.
Dakota Norris is a recent graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. Originally from Inuvik, Northwest Territories, he is a Gwich’in First Nation youth. Dakota has spent several summers as a research assistant on the Building Northern Capacity through Entrepreneurship project, a multi-year study examining entrepreneurship and economic development in the Northern Saskatchewan context. He currently works as a Junior Research Scholar at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, examining how Indigenous Canadians can engage with Asia.
Dr. Kirk Plangger is Associate Professor of Marketing at the King’s Business School, King’s College, London, UK, where he teaches and researches digital marketing. His undergraduate education in economics was at Western University, and his PhD in marketing was awarded by Simon Fraser University. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Strategic Information Systems,and Academy of Marketing Science Review.
Dr. Leyland Pitt is the Dennis F. Culver EMBA Alumni Professor of Business Administration at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, BC, Canada, where he teaches marketing in MBA and doctoral programs. His work has appeared in journals such as Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Information Systems Research, Journal of Advertising,and MIS Quarterly. He is currently associate editor of Business Horizons and Journal of Advertising Research.
Kristin Matheson is a doctoral student in industrial marketing at the Luleå University of Technology in Luleå, Sweden. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Alberta. Her work has been published in the Journal of Wine Research.
