Deeplina Banerjee is a Research Scholar with the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada's South Asia Team. She is currently a Ph.D Candidate at Western University. Her doctoral research seeks to understand the strengths and limitations of Canada's Rohingya Response Strategy in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. Her broader research interests include artificial Intelligence and automation and the future of work, renewable and clean energy, green employment, and Canada-South Asia relations. Gender is a cross-cutting theme in her research.
